Garda Supersport does not want it to be separated: that is why we decided to take care of pre-clinical biomedical research in our events.
We want -and sure we can- to fight against some of the most killing diseases of our time (among them, lung cancer which affects 2.000.000 people each year).
The CIBIO, inter-disciplinary molecular biology Center of the University of Trento, is an European excellence and the Trentino Association for Genomic Medicine was born to support this Center because ‘Research is good for everyone, even for you’ – but its costs are really high.
The Umberto Veronesi fundation -created by the famous Italian oncologist- is one of the most active crowd-funding association: the 84% of its 11.000.000 euros has been devolved to research and projects, as well as to specialists and researchers, all selected via transparent public announcements.
In 2015 we could offer 158 research fellowships, 21 to the European School of Molecular Medicine and 17 to research projects. The Umberto Veronesi social budget and activity are followed and certificated by some of the most important world companies.
